Call for Proposals: Documentary Team on Financial Inclusion in Nigeria

Enhancing Financial Inclusion and Advancement (EFInA) invites experienced documentary production teams to submit proposals for the production of a long-form documentary on financial inclusion in Nigeria.

This documentary will capture real-life stories from individuals, communities, and/or businesses across the country, highlighting both the opportunities for financial inclusion and its transformative impact on livelihoods, resilience, and economic participation. Through compelling human narratives supported by credible data, the film will showcase where financial inclusion is working, where gaps remain, and why expanding access to inclusive financial services remains critical to Nigeria’s development.

The documentary is intended to serve as a strategic advocacy and policy engagement tool, while also educating the Nigerian public on how financial inclusion affects everyday life and economic security.

Selected teams will be responsible for concept development, fieldwork and filming across diverse regions of Nigeria, and post-production, including the delivery of a 45–60 minute documentary and short-form cut-downs for digital and advocacy use.
